NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. - The Presidents Council of the AMCC welcomes Saint Vincent College as an affiliate member beginning in the Spring of 2021.
 
Spring 2020 is the first season of varsity level competition for Saint Vincent, after many years as a strong and successful club program.  As an independent, the Bearcats currently schedule more than half of the AMCC members who sponsor men's volleyball.  They join two other Presidents Athletic Conference members--Thiel College and Geneva College--as AMCC affiliates in the sport.
 
"The addition of Sain Vincent College is very helpful in strengthening our geographic footprint in men's volleyball," noted AMCC Commissioner Donna Ledwin.  "Saint Vincent has proven themselves to be a competitive and reliable partner of the AMCC as affiliate members in women's bowling, and we are confident that they will also make us better as a league in men's volleyball."

The AMCC has eight members which sponsor men's volleyball, which was established as a championship sport last year.  The conference will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III tournament effective with the Spring 2021 season.
