LATROBE, Pa. (Nov. 11) – For the third consecutive season, Saint Vincent College junior
Tanisha Grewal has earned All-Presidents' Athletic Conference honors, the league announced Friday.
Grewal (Grantville, Pa./Eastern Lebanon HS) was named Honorable Mention All-PAC, earning all-conference honors for the third time in as many seasons.
The junior forward led the Bearcats with 20 points, on nine goals and two assists, while also ranking among conference leaders in shots (64) and shots on goal (39).
Grewal recorded two four-point games, posting a goal and two assists in a win over Pitt-Bradford on Sept. 9 and posting a two-goal game on Sept. 11 in a win over Alfred State. Her season included a four-game scoring streak, as she picked up goals in PAC contests against Thiel, Franciscan, Allegheny and Grove City.
Along with Grewal earning Honorable Mention All-PAC accolades, senior teammate
Kylie Albertson (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) was named to the PAC Sportsmanship Team. A midfielder, Albertson appeared in all 16 games, with five starts, scoring a goal in SVC's win over Thiel on Oct. 12.
Under first-year head coach
Bryan Butler, the Bearcats finished the 2022 campaign with a 6-7-3 overall record. The six wins were the team's most since 2015, when they won eight games.
