GROVE CITY, Pa. (Nov. 7)- The Saint Vincent swim teams were defeated on the road at Grove City on Friday night.
The men's swim team was defeated 182-80, while the women lost 239-48.
Jacob Dzurica had a solid night for the Saint Vincent men. The senior won the 100-yard backstroke (51.35), while finishing second in the 50-yard freestyle (21.15) and the 200-yard backstroke (2:03.38).
Owen Echegaray added a win in the 100-yard butterfly in 54.78 seconds for Saint Vincent.
Liam Randolph finished second in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:00.18) and te 200-yard breaststroke in 2:16.84.
William Schauss won the 200-yard butterfly (2:00.24) and finished second in the 500-yard freestyle (5:00.31).
On the women's side,
Adrianna Grimm finished second in the 50-yard freestyle in 25.81 seconds.
Emma Martz added a second place result in the 100-yard butterfly in a time of 1:05.17.Â
The Bearcats return to action tomorrow, Saturday, November 8 hosting Allegheny in a PAC meet. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
