TRAFFORD, Pa. (Dec. 15)- Saint Vincent men's basketball senior forward Jaden Gales was named the Presidents Athletic Conference Player of the Week.

Gales was strong for Saint Vincent in their 93-75 victory at Bethany yesterday. The senior forward recorded a 27-point, 10-rebound double-double for SVC in the victory.

He was also an efficient 12-20 (60%) from the field, while also recording three steals. Gales is the first Bearcat to win the award this season.

Gales and the Bearcats go into Christmas with a perfect 2-0 record in PAC play. Saint Vincent will now head to the sunshine state to compete in the Cruzin' Classic in Miami. The Bearcats will take on Vermont State-Lyndon on Friday, December 19 at 4 p.m. They will follow that up against the #24 ranked team in the country in Tufts on Saturday, December 20 at 3 p.m. Both games will be played at St. Thomas University.
