TRAFFORD, Pa. (Mar. 4)- Two Saint Vincent men's basketball players were named to the Presidents Athletic Conference All-Conference team's that were announced via the conference's selection show tonight.
Seniors
Jaden Gales and
Dev Ostrowski earned the honors for SVC with Gales picking up the First Team honors and Ostrowski being named to the All-PAC Honorable Mention Team.
Gales concluded his Bearcats career by leading the team in both points (17.4 PPG) and rebounds (7.5 RPG). He also compiled 26 steals and 16 blocks during the season, while compiling an impressive 54% field goal percentage. The senior forward recorded an impressive six double-doubles over the course of the season, including a 27-point, 10-rebound double-double in the Bearcats win at Bethany on December 14. He ended his career with a 20-point, 12-rebound double-double in the Bearcats PAC Quarterfinal loss at Westminster last week.
Ostrowski also concluded his Saint Vincent career on a strong note. The senior guard averaged 12.6 PPG and 3.9 RPG over the course of his All-Conference season. He scored in double figures in double figures in 14 different games, including five games of scoring 20 or more points. His best game of his senior campaign came in the Bearcats non-conference win against Thiel on November 10 where he recorded a 23-point, 12-rebound double-double for the Bearcats.
