Women's track and field competes at Youngstown State Mid Major

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (Feb. 1)- The Saint Vincent women's indoor track and field team competed at the two-day Youngstown State Mid-Major Meet on Friday and Saturday.
 
In the 60-meter hurdles, Caroline Kozera recorded a 15th place finish in the field of 24, sprinting to a time of 9.89 seconds.
 
Isabella Snyder raced to a time of 6:05.46 in the field of 56 runners in the one-mile run.
 
In the field of 32 in the 5000-meter distance event, Lauren Schemmel race to a personal best result of 20:21.79 for Saint Vincent.
 
In the 60-meter dash, Gabrielle Dove recorded a time of 8.60 seconds, while Kozera raced a season-best time of 8.73 seconds.
 
The Bearcats will return to action next Saturday, February 15 traveling to SPIRE for the Indoor Games meet. The meet is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
