TRAFFORD, Pa. (March 7)- Eight Saint Vincent College women's swimmers were selected to the Presidents Athletic Conference All-Conference team, per the conference's release this afternoon.
Five Bearcats were named All-PAC First Team and those selections included
Abby Leskovansky,
Rachel Hutchinson,
Fallyn Zembiec,
Valerie Clabaugh, and
Emma Martz.
Sarah Alexander,
Teresa Grimm, and
Deanna Miller were all named All-PAC Second Team.
Leskovansky, who was named the PAC's MVP, earned four PAC Championships, including three individual championships. The senior swam a leg on the Bearcats winning 200-yard medley relay team, while also winning the 50-freestyle, 200-freestyle, and 100-freestyle. Leskovansky was also the PAC Runner-Up in the 200-freestyle relay and 400-freestyle relay as well.
Hutchinson earns the first team honors after winning both the 500-freestyle and 1650-freestyle events for Saint Vincent.Â
Zembiec, Clabaugh, and Martz were all apart of SVC's winning 200-yard medley relay team. Zembiec was also the PAC Runner-Up in the 100-back, 200-back, and 200-freestyle relay, while Martz was a PAC Runner-Up in the 200-freestyle relay and 400-freestyle relay as well.
Alexander earned second place results for SVC as well, coming in the 400-yard freestyle relay, 200-yard freestyle relay, and 800-yard freestyle relay as well. Grimm finished second in the 400-yard freestyle relay as well, while Miller finished second in the 400-yard medley relay for Saint Vincent as well.
Additionally,
Lily Holsey was named to the PAC's Sportsmanship Team as well.
