ITHACA, N.Y. (March 7)- The Saint Vincent women's indoor track and field team competed at the opening day of the AARTFC Indoor Championships on Friday evening.
To open the day, the Saint Vincent distance medley relay team set the school record in the event. The team of
Cassy Lanza,
Gabrielle Dove,
Lily Murphy, and
Miranda Cincotta raced a record breaking time of 12:45.70 to finish 11th overall in the field of 19 teams.
To follow that up,
Grace Neubert broke the second Saint Vincent of the day. Neubert set the SVC school record in the 5K, racing a time of 17:42.62 for the Bearcats to place second overall in the field of 23.
Kristen Prince finished 12th in the same event, racing a time of 18:37.55 for Saint Vincent.
Saint Vincent currently sits in 10th overall in the region after the opening day.
