TRAFFORD, Pa. (Apr. 14)- Senior men's lacrosse faceoff specialist Brady Beard was named the Presidents Athletic Conference Specialist of the Week in men's lacrosse.

Beard went 34-46 (74%) on faceoffs during the Bearcats 1-1 week last week. He added 10 ground ball pickups and scored a goal in the Bearcats win against Westminster and loss to Chatham last week.

The senior went an impressive 21-24 with seven ground ball pickups in the Bearcats' win at Westminster to open the week on Wednesday. He followed that up with 13 more faceoff wins, three ground balls, and a goal in SVC's loss to Chatham on Saturday in Pittsburgh.

Beard and the Bearcats return to action on Wednesday, April 16 with a home PAC matchup against Grove City. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. under the lights at UPMC Field on Wednesday night.
