TRAFFORD, Pa. (May 13)- Five Saint Vincent men's tennis student-athletes were named to the Presidents Athletic Conference All-Conference team.
Headlining the All-PAC teams for the Bearcats was
Braden Yokopenic (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin),
Brian Lee (Harrison City, Pa./Penn-Trafford), and
Jack Citrone (York, Pa./West York) who all earned Second Team All-PAC honors in singles play.
Yokopenic went 9-6 for the Bearcats in the top singles spot, while Lee went 9-7 in number two singles, including 5-3 in PAC play for Saint Vincent. Citrone was an impressive 14-2 overall for Saint Vincent in the fifth singles spot, while also becoming the all-time wins leader for the Bearcats as well.
Kyle Murray (Altoona, Pa./Altoona) earned All-PAC Honorable Mention honors at number six singles for Saint Vincent. Murray went 10-2 for the Bearcats, including an impressive 6-1 mark in PAC play for Saint Vincent as well.
In doubles, Yokopenic and Lee teamed up to earn All-PAC Second Team honors at number one doubles, while
Brady Johnson and Murray earned All-PAC Honorable Mention honors at third doubles.
The Bearcats finished 16-5 overall, setting a program record with the 16 wins. The Bearcats downed W&J in the PAC Quarterfinals before falling to top-seeded Allegheny in the PAC Semifinals.
