Women's soccer ranked in United Soccer Coaches regional rankings for first time in program history

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Sept. 11)- For the first time in program history the Saint Vincent women's soccer team earned a spot in the United Soccer Coaches Region VII rankings.

Led by fourth year Head Coach Bryan Butler, the Bearcats were ranked eighth in the first regional poll of the season. SVC is the lone team from the Presidents Athletic Conference to earn a spot in the rankings.

The Bearcats have gotten off to a hot start, winning four of their first five games. Saint Vincent has outscored their opponents by an 11-3 margin in those games as well.

Emma Koller has led the Saint Vincent offense with four goals scored, while Rilyn Warner has picked up three shut outs in goal on the defensive side for Saint Vincent.

Saint Vincent looks to keep their hot start to the season alive as they take on Wilmington in a home non-conference matchup on Saturday, September 13. The game is scheduled to begin at 12 noon on Saturday.
