PITTSBURGH, Pa. (Sept. 22)- The Saint Vincent men's golf team finished sixth in the 14-team field at the La Roche Invitational on Monday afternoon.

The Bearcats shot a team total of 335 to earn the fifth place result.

Matt Edwards led Saint Vincent with a round of 81. Edwards round of 81 came with seven pars and three birdies for Saint Vincent. Owen Miele recorded a round of 83 for Saint Vincent at the invitational with six pars and two birdies on his card.

Logan Clark and Evan Bower both carded rounds of 84. Clark recorded seven pars and one birdie, while Bower recorded a team-high eight pars at the tournament.

Owen Dzurko finished with a score of 87 for the Bearcats. Dzurko finished with six pars on his card. Brendan Cooley finished with a round of 95 for the Bearcats, recording five pars on his scorecard.

Saint Vincent returns to action on Saturday, September 27 traveling to compete in the Franciscan University Invitational. The invitational is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. at Steubenville Country Club on Saturday.
