TRAFFORD, Pa. (Nov. 4)- The Saint Vincent women's basketball team was picked second in the Presidents Athletic Conference Pre-Season poll, released by the conference earlier this afternoon.

Under the guidance of now second year Head Coach Kam Gissendanner, the Bearcats finished 21-7, including going 14-2 in PAC play and winning the PAC Regular Season Championship last season. The Bearcats finished one game short of the NCAA Tournament, falling to Washington & Jefferson in the PAC Championship game.

Senior guards Danielle Pontius and Olivia Yancy were named to the PAC Players to Watch List, while juniors Brooke Evans and Emerson Peffer also were on the list as well. Peffer was named Honorable Mention All-PAC a season ago.

The Bearcats will begin a tough non-conference slate, facing three ranked opponents to open the season. SVC will first take on the number one team in the country Denison this Saturday, November 7, before traveling to take on 12th ranked Christopher Newport on Wednesday, November 11. Saint Vincent will return home to take on 21st ranked Baldwin Wallace on Saturday, November 14.
