TRAFFORD, Pa. (Feb. 10)- Saint Vincent freshman men's volleyball setter Jack Ryan was named the Presidents Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

Ryan averaged 2.33 digs and 5.0 assists per set last week as Saint Vincent swept a pair of non-conference contests. The freshman recorded seven digs, two total blocks (one solo, one assisted), 15 assists, one kill and an ace in Tuesday's home win over Carlow.

He followed that with nine digs, 37 assists and three kills in Saturday's victory over Hilbert.

Ryan and the Bearcats return to action tonight, Tuesday, February 10 with a home PAC matchup against Bethany. The match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. in the Robert S. Carey Center.
