TRAFFORD, Pa. (Feb. 9)-  Senior Saint Vincent men's basketball forward Jaden Gales was named the Presidents Athletic Conference Player of the Week.

Gales averaged 20.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals for the Bearcats over the course of their 2-0 week. It was an efficient week offensively for the senior forward, who shot 68 percent (17-25) from the floor, 60 percent from the arc (3-5) and sank all four of his free throw attempts.

He recorded a 17-point, 10-rebound double-double in just 21 minutes of action in their win against Waynesburg on Wednesday, before following that up with 24 points on 10-of-14 shooting, while collecting eight rebounds and three steals in the Bearcats' win at Thiel on Saturday.

Gales and the Bearcats return to action on Wednesday, February 11 with a home matchup against W&J. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in the Robert S. Carey Center on Wednesday night.
