TRAFFORD, Pa. (Mar. 16)- Two Saint Vincent athletes earned Presidents Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors.
In men's volleyball,
Shawn McSwiggen was named the PAC Offensive Player of the Week, while
Braden Yokopenic was named the PAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week.
McSwiggen averaged 4.0 kills per set, helping the Bearcats clinch their 11th straight win with Saturday's sweep against Chatham. The senior right-side hitter hit .321 in the match, recording 12 kills on 28 swings with just three errors. He also added three service aces and seven digs in the victory for Saint Vincent.
Yokopenic went 4-0 for the Bearcats in their wins against Immaculata and Pitt-Greensburg. He earned 6-2 victories in one and two doubles, respectively, in the Bearcats' doubleheader against Immaculata, while also picking up a 6-2, 2-6, 10-4 victory in the top singles spot in the match as well. He also earned a 6-1 victory in the top doubles spot against Pitt-Greensburg.
