Men's golf finishes fourth at PAC Championship

BOARDMAN, Ohio (Apr. 25)- The Saint Vincent men's golf team placed fourth in the 10 team field at the 2025 Presidents Athletic Conference Championship.

The Bearcats posted a four round total of 1248, finishing just seven shots behind Grove City who finished in third. Saint Vincent recorded a score of 311 in the final round, which was tied for the second lowest team score of the round.

Matt Edwards was the Bearcats top finisher as he earned Second Team All-PAC honors after finishing T-9th. He recorded nine pars and two birdies en route to his final round 76 for SVC.

Brendan Cooley earned Honorable Mention All-PAC honors for the Bearcats, finishing 13th overall. He recorded a total score of 78 in the final round, recording 12 pars.

Owen Miele finished T-27th after shooting a round of 80 for the Bearcats in round four. He recorded nine pars and a birdie.

Owen Dzurko carded an 80, while Evan Bower recorded a round of 77 for SVC in the final round. Dzurko totaled nine pars over the course of his round, while Bower recorded 10 pars and a birdie for the Bearcats as well.

Allegheny won the championship as a team, shooting a team total of 1203 to win the event by over 20 strokes. Luke Gronbeck of Grove City was the individual medalist by a single stroke after a shooting a final round of 84.

The Bearcats fourth place finish is their best finish since the 2019-2020 season.
