DELAWARE, Pa. (Apr. 4)- The Saint Vincent men's golf team placed seventh in the 13-team field at the two-day Premier Collegiate Invitational at Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort.
Matt Edwards was the Bearcats top finisher, finishing t-14th overall. He recorded rounds of 79 and 70 over the course of the two-day tournament. He recorded three birdies (all three in round two) and 27 pars over the course of the two rounds for SVC.
Brendan Cooley finished behind Edwards (t-28th) after shooting rounds of 74 and 80 for the Bearcats. He recorded three birdies (all in round one) and 21 pars over the two rounds.
Owen Miele finished three shots behind Cooley after shooting rounds of 78 and 79 for Saint Vincent. He recorded three birdies (all in round one) and 21 pars for the Bearcats.
Owen Dzurko added rounds of 80 and 79, while
Evan Bower shot an 87 and 82 for the Bearcats. Dzurko recorded two birdies and 17 pars, while Bower recorded two birdies (both in round two) and 11 pars over the two-day tournament.
Saint Vincent returns to action on Tuesday, April 14, competing in the Moravian University Invitational. Tee times are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. at Bedford Springs Golf Course.
