MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (May 1)- The Saint Vincent men's track and field team placed eighth at the 2026 PAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Morgantown on Thursday and Friday.
The event was highlighted by a first-place finish from freshman Noah Channel and multiple scoring efforts across the team. Channel paced the Bearcats with a dominant victory in the 1500 meters, posting a personal-best time of 4:02.04 to earn 10 team points.He also added a fourth-place finish in the 800 meters, crossing in 1:58.69 to contribute five more points.
Saint Vincent placed three runners in the top four of the 1500, as Will Stickman finished third in 4:04.00 and Jordan Raynor took fourth in 4:04.66, adding six and five points, respectively.
In the hurdles, Leo Thomas turned in a pair of scoring performances, finishing third in the 110m hurdles in 16.32 to earn six points after qualifying through prelims, while Elwood Fahnbulleh added a seventh-place finish in 16.67. Thomas also posted a personal-best 58.96 in the 400m hurdles. In the sprints, Daniel Maddock led the men with an 11.04 in the 100 meters and a time of 22.36 in the 200, while Bailey Simon ran a personal-best 22.40 in the 200.
The Bearcats also scored in the field events, as Lucas Measel placed eighth in the high jump (1.71m) and Jalani Campbell took eighth in the triple jump (12.46m). To conclude the event, the Bearcats 4x100 relay team placed third (42.34) and the 4x400 relay team placed fourth (3:23.18).
Saint Vincent will next compete on Friday, May 8, competing at the Harrison Dillard Invite in Berea, Ohio.
