CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. (Oct. 13) - The Saint Vincent field hockey team rallied to tie the score, 1-1, late in the game, but fell in overtime at Wilson (Pa.), 2-1.
With the Bearcats trailing, 1-0, after a Wilson goal in the 53rd-minute, sophomore
Kayla Howard tied the game at the 61:26-mark to force overtime. After 10:54 had elapsed in the extra period, Wilson recorded the game-winner.
For the game, the hosts held a 27-2 advantage on shots and took a whopping 33 penalty corners compared to three by Saint Vincent. Senior
Ashley Nowicki recorded the the only other shot for the Bearcats.

Bridget Harner made 15 saves while playing the entire 80:54.
With the loss, the Bearcats fall to 1-9 on the season while Wilson improves to 4-4.
The Bearcats return to home this Saturday, Oct. 15 to play Houghton (N.Y.) at 4:30 p.m. on the SVC Turf.
