NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. (Oct. 28) - The Saint Vincent men's and women's swimming teams each finished fourth at the season-opening Westminster Relays.
The women's team opened up the event with the best finish by a Bearcat relay finishing event one, the 3x100 butterfly, in second place behind only NCAA Division II Gannon. The relay of freshmen

Katie Custer finished with a time of three minutes, 10.51 seconds to finish in second place by less than four seconds.
In the 800 yard freestyle relay, the quartet of sophomore
Carolyn Claybrooks, Samoriski, junior
Jayna Cline and freshman Molly McKloskey posted a third-place finish with a time of 8:42.14.
For the men's competition, the Bearcats' best finish came with a third place in the 400 yard medley relay. Sophomore

Matt Linebaugh posted a time fo 4:00.86 to finish behind Gannon and host Westminster.
Both SVC teams return to the pool this weekend, Saturday, Nov. 5, traveling to Grove City for a dual meet with the Wolverines.
