The Bearcats outscored Geneva College 46-23 in the second half, erasing a 10-point halftime deficit to down the Golden Tornadoes on the road by a score of 79-66.

BJ McGill, the Bearcats were sluggish at the outset of the game, falling behind by 12 points to two different occasions in the first half.
Dennis Bassich kept the visitors in the game, scoring 11 points in the first half, as Geneva went into the break with a 10-point lead, 43-33.
In the second half, the trio of Bassich,
Tauvon Pettiford and
Dillon Stith led the Bearcats on a pair of huge runs. Pettiford scored seven straight points early in the half, keying an 11-0 run that brought SVC back within one, 47-46. After a Geneva free throw made it a two-point game, Bassich hit a three-pointer at the 14:22 mark to give the Bearcats their first lead of the game.
After Geneva came back to take a 53-51 advantage on a three by Drew Santarsiero with 12:40 left, Stith hit a three to give the Bearcats the lead once again, then threw down a dunk just before the midway point of the half, starting a 13-0 run. After that, Saint Vincent never trailed.
Geneva fought back to make it a three point game, 64-61, but Pettiford scored five consecutive points, then Bassich took over, scoring the team's final eight points to seal the comeback win.
Bassich had a career high 28 points on the night, while Pettiford scored 20, including 16 in the second half. Stith added 14 to go along with 8 rebounds.
Grant Latus also grabbed 8 boards.
Santarsiero led Geneva with 15 points off the bench, while Richard Colick tallied 14.
On the night, Saint Vincent (15-6) outrebounded Geneva 36-32, holding the Golden Tornadoes to just two offensive rebounds in the second half.
The Bearcats will be back in action in a key conference matchup on Wednesday night, hosting Bethany College at 8PM in the Carey Center.
