The SVC men's tennis team improved to 4-1 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference with a victory on the road in Kentucky over Thomas More College.

The final score was 6-3, but the outcome failed to reflect how closely the match was played.  Three of the six singles matches went to a tiebreaker, with SVC capturing all three points.

SVC captured two of three doubles matches, with victories earned by the duos of Sean Malone/Chris Andrejcik and Patrick McGee/Dalton Yezovich.  

In singles, McGee was a straight-set winner in the #6 position.  Malone (#1), Tyler Brinton (#4) and Yezovich (#5) each split the first two sets before earning a 10-point tiebreaker win to secure the Bearcat victory.

Saint Vincent is now 6-1 overall, and will face a major test on Tuesday as the team travels to Mercer County to face the Grove City College Wolverines.
