Saint Vincent opened its Presidents' Athletic Conference schedule with a home matchup against Grove City College, falling by a score of 9-0.

The Bearcats faced an tough test with two starters missing, forcing fresh faces into the starting lineup.
 
The Bearcats stumbled out of the gates in doubles play, not winning a single game against the Wolverines. In singles play Saint Vincent won just four game on the day. The best match up was at first singles where Chris Andrejcik dropped a 6-1, 6-1 decision.  The other two game wins came from sophomores Tyler Brinton and Dalton Yezovich who both suffered 0-6, 1-6 losses at third and fourth singles, respectively.
 
The loss drops Saint Vincent to 1-1 overall and 0-1 in the PAC. The Bearcats will be back in action Wednesday, March 25, for a non-conference tilt against Penn State-Altoona. The match will begin at noon at the Greensburg Racquet Club.
