NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. (Oct. 15)- Saint Vincent women's bowler Skyy Nicholls was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Bowler of the Week.

Nicholls had an impressive start to the season at the Grapevine Classic in Erie this past weekend. Nicholls earned the tournament's MVP.

At the tournament, she averaged a 215.4, while also setting a school record with 1077 pins in five games in Traditional play on Saturday. She recorded a single game high of 254 in the Bearcats win against Pitt-Bradford as well. 

For the weekend, she threw strikes on 57 of 97 shots (58.8%) and had a single-pin spare percentage of 93.8, along with a makeable spare percentage of 82.8.

Saint Vincent went a perfect 10-0 at the tournament and were crowed the tournament champions.
