LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Aug. 7) – Ten members of the Saint Vincent College softball team have been named All-America Scholar-Athletes by Easton and the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).
The Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete award recognizes softball student-athletes who maintain a grade point average of 3.50 or higher for the duration of the 2024-25 academic year.
The 2024-25 Saint Vincent College honorees include:
- Freshman nursing major Abby Bauer (Worthington, Pa./Armstrong)
- Senior biology major Meghan Braun (Waynesburg, Pa./Waynesburg Central)
- Sophomore nursing major Mackenzie Favero (Apollo, Pa./Kiski Area)
- Sophomore business data analytics major Alyssa Henderson (Pleasantville, Pa./Chestnut Ridge)
- Freshman biology major Dakota Hershberger (Belleville, Pa./Mifflin County)
- Freshman criminology major Lily Koller (New Brighton, Pa./North Catholic)
- Freshman biology major Macie McHugh (Latrobe, Pa./Greater Latrobe)
- Sophomore engineering major Shayna Perigo (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills)
- Junior engineering major Lily Rush (Waynesburg, Pa./Waynesburg Central)
- Freshman nursing major Taylor Williams (Traverse City, Mich./Traverse City West)
Braun and Rush have now earned the award in three consecutive seasons, while Perigo, Henderson, and Favero are now repeat selections.
