NEW CONCORD, Ohio (Jan. 24)- The Saint Vincent men's indoor track and field team placed third in the 11-team field at the Muskie Meet #2 on Saturday in Ohio.
The Bearcats 4x200 relay team highlighted the day for the team. The team of
P.J. McNeal,
Daniel Maddock,
Shane Fawehinmi, and
Bailey Simon set the Saint Vincent school record with a time of 1:33.10, finishing in first place in the event. The time is also a regional qualifying time for the Bearcats as well.
Additonally, Maddock placed third in the finals of the 60-meter dash, running a time of 7.16 for SVC. McNeal won the 400-meter dash for the Bearcats, racing to a winning time of 51.55 seconds.
Noah Channel won the 800-meter dash in a time of 2:00.81 and
Jordan Raynor finished second in the 1-mile run in a time of 4:30.59.
Saint Vincent will return to action on Friday, January 30, competing in the two-day Youngstown State Mid-Major.
