YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (Jan. 31)- The Saint Vincent men's track and field team competed at the Youngstown State Mid-Major on Saturday.
Leo Thomas led the way for the Bearcats, setting the school record in the 60-meter hurdles. Thomas raced to a program record time of 8.98 seconds to finish 18th in the race.
Multiple Bearcats also set personal best times in their events as well.
Ryan Peterson raced to a personal best time of 7.67 in the 60-meter dash.
Daniel Maddock also recorded a personal best time of 22.99 in the 200-meter dash, while Peterson ran his best career time in the event as well with a time of 25.02.
Noah Channel raced to a PR time of 1:59.70 in the 800-meter race, while
Roger Kwiat raced his best time in the 1-mile run (5:21.28).
Jordan Raynor (8:53.25) and
Nick Dzurica (9:55.58) raced personal best times in the 3000-meter race, while
Kenny Battistelli recorded a personal best in the 5000-meter run (16:34.38).
Lucas Measel's mark of 1.84m in the high jump was a PR for himself too.
The Bearcats return to action on Friday, February 13 competing in both the Boston University Valentine Invitational and the Youngstown State Last Chance meet's.
