NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. (Feb. 11)- Saint Vincent College sophomore women's bowler
Mareana Pilyih was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference women's bowler of the week.
Pilyih set a new program record with a a four-game series total of 898 (224.5 average) at the American Heartland Bowling Association's Roseland Open in Cleveland, Ohio.
The sophomore was named the tournament MVP and threw strikes on 54% of of her shots, while also converting on 19 of 20 makeable spares (95%).
Pilyih and the Bearcats return to action this Saturday, February 14 competing in the second two-day AMCC Round Robin of the season. The round robin is scheduled to take place at Hiester Lanes in Reading, Pa.
