TRAFFORD, Pa. (Feb. 16)- Two Saint Vincent men's lacrosse players earned Presidents Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors during the opening week of the 2026 season.
Senior attackman
Liam McCall earned the PAC Offensive Player of the Week award, while sophomore LSM
Isaiah Francis was named the PAC Specialist of the Week.
McCall recorded 12 points (5 goals, 7 assists) for the Bearcats in wins over Thiel and Westminster to open the 2026 season. The senior attackman also scooped up four groundballs in the two PAC wins for Saint Vincent as well. McCall totaled half of his points in SVC's 28-2 win against Thiel, where he scored three goals and dished out three assists. He followed that up with two goals and four assists in the Bearcats win against Westminster on Saturday.
Francis led the Bearcats with 13 groundballs and four caused turnovers, while also dishing out one assist during their 2-0 week. Francis scooped up five of his groundballs and caused all four turnovers in the win against Thiel. He followed that up with eight groundballs and one assist in the win against Westminster on Saturday.
The Bearcats return to action on Saturday, February 21 with a road matchup at Immaculata. The game is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. on Saturday afternoon in Immaculata, Pa.
