The Lady Bearcats were handed a 9-0 defeat by Bridgewater College in the opening game of the 2010 MAPP Invitational. The host Eagles out-shot SVC 23-2 on the afternoon, taking a 3-0 lead at halftime before putting the game out of reach with six second half goals. SVC will return to action Sunday afternoon, taking on Sweet Briar College in the second day of the MAPP tourney.
