BOX SCORE CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. (April 26) - After jumping out to an early lead, the Saint Vincent baseball team lost 12-4 to first place Thomas More in Presidents' Athletic Conference action.
The win by the host Saints game them a season series sweep of the Bearcats. SVC dropped to 16-18 overall and 8-12 in PAC play. Thomas More improved to 25-8 overall and 17-4 in league contests.

Eddie Kilkeary laced a two-run single to score
Luke Fox and
Aaron Burger in the top of the first inning. SVC starter
Michael Patsch worked out of a bases loaded jam in the bottom of the first inning to help maintain the early lead.
Thomas More answered with an RBI single and a three-run home run in the bottom of the second inning to take a 4-2 advantage of the Bearcats.
Burger brought the Bearcats within one run at 4-3, driving home Fox on an RBI single through the right side in the fifth inning.
That would be as close as the Bearcats would get, as the Saints tacked on five runs in the bottom half of the frame, taking a 9-3 lead. TMC added three more runs in the eighth inning, strengthening their lead to 12-3. Fox doubled home
Brennan Hoffer in the ninth inning to close out the scoring, as the Bearcats fell 12-4.
Fox, Burger and Hoffer each tallied two hits in the loss. Patsch dropped to 1-3 on the season, surrendering nine earned runs over 4.2 innings of work. Patsch struck out three while walking four.
Saint Vincent has five games remaining to play over the final week of the regular season. The first of which is a nonconference nine-inning contest at Penn State Fayette on Tuesday, April 28.
