Brad Burkardt and Grant Krally combined for six RBI, and Gary Gerhardt tossed 8 scoreless innings as the Bearcat seniors led the team to a 14-0 win over Clark University.

Burkardt provided the power early in the game, crushing a 2-run home run in the second inning.  SVC had taken a 2-0 lead in the first, with Krally providing the game-winning RBI on a single.

Gerhardt was strong throughout the day, striking out seven, while scattering five hits.  He faced only three batters over the minimum, thanks to a pair of pickoffs at first base.

Nine different Bearcats provided hits, part of a 15-hit assault by the SVC bats.  Tanner Master went 3-for-5, while Joey Fearer was 2-5 and scored four runs.  Burkardt was 2-5 with a home run, triple, 4 RBI and he scored three times. 

Krally went 2-4 with a pair of RBI, while Nolan Russell also contributed 2 RBI.  Geo Muzika walked three times and scored three runs, while Nick Beamenderfer was 2-3 with a pair of runs scored.

Max Henry preserved the shutout, working a scoreless 9th inning in his first appearance since last March.

The Bearcats will complete their Spring Break trip on Saturday at 1PM, facing Brandeis University.
